RAIL-CO International™ offers a full line of Barrier Cable Systems, with increasing levels of corrosion protection from epoxy coating to HDPE. Barrier Cable Systems provide perimeter containment and protection for either pedestrians, vehicles, or both.

Epoxy - Coated Barrier Systems:	Epoxy Coating
Galvanized Barrier Cable Systems:	Hot - Dipped Galvanizing. Galvanized Barrier Strand or Galvanized Prestressing Strand

Corrosion:	Three levels of corrosion protection are available. Epoxy - coated barrier cable systems offer excellent protection, UV resistance, and extended service life of the strand. Galvanized strand is impervious to UV degradation and offers long-term durability in normal exposure conditions.
Colors:	Epoxy - coated is available in black, yellow, white, blue and red. Other color accommodations can be made but subject to limitations.
Anchorages:	A complete line of anchorage hardware is available. For concrete anchorages they include cast-in, thread insert-type and barrel anchorages. Treatment protection includes galvanization and plastic encapsulation.

RAIL-CO International™ can supply a manual to illustrate our Barrier Cable Systems, their specifications and appli-cable uses. Also included is an installation section, which details design recommendations, barrier cable specifications and maintenance procedures. Stressing barrier strand requires specialized equipment and skills. Vehicle and Pedestrian barriers are safety systems and should be installed by those who have experience in post-tensioning barrier cable systems. Documentation of this experience should be submitted to the engineer of record for approval.
