What are the minimum footage requirements for an order of wire rope?:
There are no minimum footage requirements, however there is a minimum purchase requirement of $25.00. If you are not sure of the length of rope you need, we will be happy to assist you in the estimation of your project. Also, we can help you decide what kind of rope (stainless, galvanized, etc) best suits the project you are working on.

What are your hours of operation?:
All locations (Portland, Oakland, and Seattle) are all open from 7:30am – 5:00pm (Pacific Time) Monday – Friday. We also offer 24 hour emergency assistance if you have an after-hours repair or other urgent need.

The following information is needed to place an order: The name of the company and contact information (who is placing the order, address, city, state, zip, phone numbers, etc), payment type (VISA, Mastercard, etc), order specifications (what size, length, quantity, construction and what the intended use is for the equipment), delivery method (will call, delivery, etc). Most orders can be processed the same day they are placed, but these often depend on the size and specifications of the order.

How do I accurately measure the amount of rope needed for a sling?:
The appropriate way to measure a sling is from the bearing point of the eye to the bearing point of the eye. The reach of change slings is measured from the bearing point of one end to the bearing point of the other end.

How do I accurately measure the amount of rope needed for railings?:
The appropriate way to measure the length of rope needed for railings is to specify what your finished length would be. Depending on the design of the railing, you many need to measure from the outside of one post to the outside of another post. Or, you many need to measure from the inside of one post to the inside of another. Essentially, measure from one bearing point to the next to determine the necessary length.
