CAUTION! WORKING LOADS ARE GUIDELINES ONLY.
1. Linear density (pounds per 100 feet) is shown as average . Maximum is 5% higher.
2. New rope tensile strengths are based on test of new and unused rope of standard construction in accordance with Cordage Institute Standard
Test.
3. Working Loads are for rope in good condition with appropriate splices, in non critical applications, and under normal service conditions. Working
loads should be exceeded only with expert knowledge of conditions and professional estimates of risk. Working loads should be reduced where life,
limb, or valuable property are involved, or for exceptional service conditions such as shock load, sustained loads, etc.
4. Manila rope tensile and weight specifications are based on Federal Specification TR 605B.
